Conference “Bliżej” 2025 – speakers

Rafał Piekarski

Rafał is one of the leaders of the Proem Foundation and the Lead Pastor of Tomy Christian Fellowship — an evangelical community gathering as “one mission in three cities”: Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Łódź, and Piotrków Trybunalski. He also serves on the National Council of the Church of Christ in Poland.

Rafał is passionate about inspiring people toward transformation through teaching God’s Word and creating authentic, relational spaces that support growth. He loves walking with people through change, encouraging them with the belief that the future is more motivating than the past — and that Christlikeness is truly possible.

Fan of Polish investigative journalism, U2, and green tea. Happily married to Agnieszka for 25 years, and father to three amazing children: Wojtek, Agata, and Adam.

At the “Closer” conference, Rafał will lead the main sessions.

Agnieszka Piekarska

Agnieszka is a psychologist, educator, and therapist working within the Solution-Focused Brief Therapy model. For 20 years, she has been co-leading Tomy Christian Fellowship alongside her husband, Rafał. She is involved in women’s ministry and runs the Tomy Family Counseling Center.

Privately, Agnieszka is a devoted wife, mom to three wonderful young adults, and a lover of books, forest walks, good food, and travel.

At the conference, Agnieszka will lead the pre-conference session and a Saturday seminar.

Dariusz Cieślar

Coach on the SzukajacBoga.pl platform, involved for years in ministry among youth. Co-creator of the YouTube channel “Nie wiem co myśleć” (“I Don’t Know What to Think”), and one of the coordinators of the DrugiKrok.pl platform, which supports people in crisis and those struggling with addiction. A musician by passion and a vintage synthesizer enthusiast, he loves chess and long-distance running. Husband and father of three children.

Adam Balcarek

Since 2013, he has been involved with SzukajacBoga.pl ministry, serving among other roles, as the regional coordinator of the project in the Pomerania region. Before his conversion, he struggled with addiction, and later—drawing from his personal experience—he has been helping others overcome addiction for several years by co-creating the platform Drugikrok.pl. God has blessed him with three wonderful women: his wife and two daughters. In his daily life, he is focused on spiritual growth and enjoys walking and swimming.

Filip Król

Born a Millennial, a Christian since he was 15, interested in use of technology for impacting people’s life. With engineering background and classic music training combines the art with tech, to engage the culture and reach people in a meaningful way. Connected with SzukajacBoga mission since it beginnings, serving the supportive role for technology and strategy. CEO of Studio DR. Husband of Justyna and father of Paul, Miriam and Timothy.

Tymoteusz Cieślar

An (im)perfect, down-to-earth optimist — especially when there’s good food on the table. Involved in the SzukajacBoga.pl ministry for over a decade, primarily working in the area of media. Deeply convinced that thoughtfulness and reflection are essential components of healthy Christianity.
