Henry’s Update from July

Henryk Król Co-Founder, President DeoLink

Dear Friends,
As always, warm greetings from Wisła!
We are so thankful for your interest in and support of our ministry in Poland.

After an extremely busy June—with multiple Outback family weekends, several The Chosen initiatives, and many other activities—we have now entered a somewhat quieter season. Several of our staff members are on vacation, although we are still participating in a number of conferences. Meanwhile, our digital ministry continues without interruption.

Yes, we also go for vacations! Together with Bogusia’s brother Krzysztof and his wife Ela in Spain

It is worth pausing for a moment to reflect on this ministry because it is such an amazing tool for evangelism. Every day, people who are searching for spiritual answers come to one of our four GrowPoint platforms and are connected with an e-coach—a mature Christian who is willing first to listen carefully and then gently share what Christ has done in his or her own life.

Most people come carrying deep wounds or difficult life situations, so our e-coaches need great wisdom, compassion, and God’s grace to respond with love and understanding. Every day, around 100 new people begin conversations through our platforms. Many stay in touch with us for months or even years, and some eventually become e-coaches themselves. In fact, nearly half of our current e-coaches first came to know the Lord through this very ministry.

Since launching this outreach in 2008, we have personally served more than 250,000 people. Thousands have become active members of local churches and Christian fellowships.

Thank You, Jesus!

Outback is another wonderful ministry. It helps couples and families experience reconciliation—not simply through better communication, but through God’s transforming work in their hearts and lives. The impact has been so significant that, even without extensive promotion, we receive far more applications than we can accommodate. What began as one weekend each year has now grown to eight weekends in three different locations across Poland.

The vision continues to expand. Two additional Polish cities are currently forming leadership teams to launch their own Outback ministries. At the same time, our “mother organization,” American JH Outback, has asked us to help establish Outback throughout Europe. Our long-term vision now includes 17 European countries, and encouraging developments have already begun in five of them.

You can imagine how much work this involves: establishing new relationships, finding the right leaders, visiting them, praying together, inviting them to experience an Outback weekend in Poland, and only then beginning the training process and sharing everything we have learned over the years.

Our Ukrainian staff member, Vitaly, recently helped organize a summer camp for children whose fathers were killed in the war.

One of the volunteers was a young mother from Sumy with her little daughter. They left our area on July 4, beginning the two-day train journey home. That very day, another missile attack struck Sumy. One of the explosions occurred right next to their apartment building, blowing out all the windows. Had they already been home, they could easily have been among the victims, as some of their neighbors were. We praise the Lord for that miraculous protection!

Our annual Women’s Breakfast, organized by my wife Bogusia and her wonderful team, was another great encouragement. Around 580 women attended, with more than half joining us for the very first time. The Gospel was presented clearly and received with great openness.

The Chosen ministry also continues to flourish. Around 3,000 ambassadors across Poland are organizing screenings in new locations, building local teams, and preparing follow-up opportunities for those interested in learning more about Christ. Everything is leading toward the launch of Season 6, planned for November 2026.
The entire vision is to use this outstanding film series as an evangelistic bridge, connecting interested viewers with discipleship opportunities. I have personally met many people who told me that The Chosen played a significant role in their journey to faith in Jesus Christ.

At the same time, we continue to face significant financial challenges. Maintaining professional operations, secure infrastructure, proper data backups, and redundant systems for more than one million user accounts requires considerable resources. We continue to pray for God’s provision and for partners who feel led to stand with us financially. Every gift, regardless of its size, makes a real difference. If you really like what we are doing, please, become our partner also in supporting us in a sustainable way. Even small but predictable donations would really help a lot!

We now have a simple and secure way to receive donations through TrustBridge. The details are included at the end of this newsletter.

Dear Kornelia, we hope you also have an enjoyable and refreshing summer. Thank you so much for your faithful prayers, encouragement, and partnership. We are deeply grateful to have you standing with us.
Yours in Christ,

Henryk Król

Feedback from the participants of “Where is God during the war?” course on the Nadiya.in.ua platform:

“My sincere thanks to Igor Plokhy for his in-depth analysis of this important question: is God present in times of war? It turns out that He is present even in times of war… because He reveals Himself through all those who expose lies, protect the weak, help those in need, and show sacrifice and love…”

“For me, this course was an important moment to pause and look more deeply at my walk with the Lord. I learned to listen more attentively to what is happening in my heart, and to share my pains and questions with God more openly. (…) I believe this course helped strengthen my faith and once again convinced me that, in every circumstance, the Lord is always present.”

“Thank you for such important information and explanations. I received answers to my questions.”

“I recommend this course to anyone who often asks themselves, “Where is God during the war?” or “Why did God allow this?” Here you’ll find answers, and even more. I personally discovered it myself and found answers to questions I couldn’t answer on my own, and discovered so much more.”
