Ministry > ChosenCon, Charlotte – event report

Another update from the world of The Chosen!

For several years now, an annual gathering of fans of The Chosen has been held in the United States. Over the course of several days, attendees can take part in panels with the show’s stars, learn more about the future of the production, and even watch exclusive preview clips from upcoming seasons before their official release.

Each year I also have the opportunity to take part in this event. This year in Charlotte, the leader of The Chosen Poland project was present, and below he shares everything he experienced there:

Let me share some impressions from my visit to Charlotte. I attended the ChosenCon event, which brought together more than 5,000 superfans of The Chosen, as well as people who feel deeply connected to what this series represents.

It was a fantastic opportunity to meet the actors, speak with the director – Dallas Jenkins, and learn the latest news from the world of The Chosen. I was able to hear the actors talk about their experiences on the set of Season 6, take photos with them, and see and purchase new merchandise related to the series. But this event was not only about excitement and meeting people.

The organizers also created a space for spiritual reflection. There was a special room for prayer and contemplation, where visitors could write their prayers or intentions on small fish-shaped cards. Right next to it, the Upper Room had been recreated exactly as it appears in the series. There was a table and chairs, a basin, and the cloth with which Jesus washed the disciples’ feet. From the speakers came the words of the Gospel, helping to create the atmosphere of that incredibly important moment. It was an experience that truly touched the heart.

Thanks to the Come and See Foundation, I also had the chance to watch a new film, Discover the Truth, the Way, and the Life. It shows the tremendous impact that retelling the Gospel can have in the modern world. It highlights how many people are touched by this story, crossing barriers of language, culture, and religion.

Speaking of languages – I also saw the official Guinness World Records certificate confirming, for the second time, that The Chosen is the series translated into the largest number of languages in the world. It is currently available in 125 languages! I also learned the story of Rita, a single mother from Portugal who fell in love with the series and decided to bring The Chosen to her country by translating it into Portuguese. Today she works in international translation coordination. It’s an incredible journey – from viewer to someone who has a real impact on the global reach of the series.

At the end of the event, two major surprises awaited us. The first was a worship concert by Phil Wickham, which deeply moved me. Together with a choir of five thousand voices, we praised God for His goodness and grace. It was a powerful experience of community. An additional surprise was the appearance of Jonathan Roumie, who joined the band as a guest and played the drums.

And finally, the moment everyone had been waiting for the most – the preview of Season 6. After showing us a short presentation, Dallas said it was… not enough. I thought I had misheard him. But a moment later he added that he would show us the entire first episode of Season 6. An episode that is still in production not yet fully finished, but already ready to be shared with us.

I was speechless. A full episode of Season 6! It’s hard for me to describe my impressions. This episode literally leaves you stunned in your seat. It is emotional, at times funny, but also deeply symbolic. The Bible stands at the very center. The words of the Gospel are treated with literal care and immense respect.

I can’t wait for the rest. Season 6 is expected to be released later this year.

We hope that in the coming months we will be able to share more news about the next season of the series and its Polish premiere. Follow the updates here, and we also encourage you to subscribe to our newsletter.
